  New Homes - Construction

Building a home completely indoors may seem like a difficult process, but as compared to building on site, there are some big advantages.

Controlled Environment

At the manufacturing facility, the construction process happens entirely indoors.  This means that your home will not be exposed to the harmful effects of rain or inclement weather during the building process, as site built homes frequently are.  Warping and weather damage are eliminated with the indoor construction process.

Quality

Every Fairmont, Harmony and Adventure home meets or exceeds the code requirements that are set forth by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.  The production line allows for easy access for the inspection process and every home is inspected throughout its assembly to ensure a quality product.

Affordability

Wasted materials are minimized during factory construction and materials are ordered in bulk quantities.  These factors, combined with the centralized location for machinery and manpower allow the manufacturers to offer a quality built home at a fraction of the price of a site built home.

Time

Building times vary, but typically it takes about 3 weeks from the date the home is ordered to the date the home is ready to be delivered.  Site built homes can take several months to complete.

Below are some highlights from the Harmony Homes construction process:

Exterior seams are sealed to prevent air infiltration.

Organized and clean installation of pex water lines finished with pipe covers.

Sectional homes are connected during the construction process to ensure alignment at setup.
